With Order №ДАЕУ-17484 of 23.09.2020, a Methodology for monitoring and checking the accessibility of the content of websites and mobile applications, with the corresponding annexes, has been approved by the chairperson of State e-Government Agency (SeGA).  

The documents are prepared in relation to the performance of the powers of the chairperson of SeGA as a body for monitoring and enforcement of  the DirectiveE (EU) 2016/2102 of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327/10 of 02.12.2016).

The Bulgarian Institute for Standardization prepared a collection entitled „Information-communication technology. Requirements and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines”.

Collection includes publications in Bulgarian language of BDS EN 301 549 V2.1.2:2018 Accessibility requirements for ICT products and services and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. It covers a wide range of recommendations for making Web content more accessible and addresses accessibility of web content on desktop, laptop, tables, and mobile devices.
